The power of vulnerability
When I've had an experience with a company that just goes the extra mile and creates something totally awesome, unique or just gives you the best service, I have to pass on a recommendation. If they are on this list, I've been there, tried it and loved it or I've had close friends rave about it and it's on my bucket list to get there one day.
Photography
Vivid images photography is based in Fourwarys, Johannesburg. We have had a family photo shoot done there recently and I loved the result. Jacqui Whyte makes you feel at ease in an instant. She is both fun and disarming but is dedicated to quality and professionalism. From family photo shoots to corporate events, this is my choice.
Slumberlings is also a Jacqui Whyte product. The photos of newborns from these shoots are just breathtaking! I missed out on having this done with Josh but just look at her website and you will be convinced!
Chef and the Fatman opened recently on Witkoppen road. It's a work in progress but I love the country feel, huge open spaces, go carts, jungle gyms, trampolines and soon to be created climbing walll, mini motorbike racetrack and lots of good food and live music.
Be Sharp Beetles is offered at some schools and at studios around JHB. Josh loved the programme and I love the attention to detail in developing the kids in various areas.
